Our children are living
messages we send to a time and a place we may never see, a song for
the future from you and me. Will they carry the note? Do they
know the key? Bunny Sings Wolf
"Never underestimate the value of what
you are doing"
"Many who used to speak of the age of purification as a time of
complete destruction now recognize it as a time of transformation,
when the thoughts, words, and acts of human beings can shape
outcomes that will affect this planet far into the future. Earth
need not suffer; people need not suffer. We must be willing to
take responsibility and to keep vortices of light moving through our
group meditation and individual practice...we are turning this dream
to peace..." Voices of our Ancestors, Ywahoo
"Toksha ake

NOW is the time for
celebration, transformation, meditation and for each to walk in
light, as caretakers of the earth, sharing our own good words & prayers
in ways of peace, balance and harmony.
This is not a time to just speak them, but WALK - LIVE - SING them in a loving new song, in childlike forgiveness. compassion,
with tenderness and wholeness -
and like a rare new born
white buffalo calf
send the sound and walk
the dance to manifest buffalo abundance for ourselves, each other, in
mutual respect and caring, for all our relations!

are all related)
"On this Day: Stand
up for a principle. Express your gratitude. Overcome an
old fear. Take two minutes to appreciate the beauty of nature.
Tell someone you love them. Tell them again and again."
"Responsibility educates."

"Hundreds of dewdrops to greet the
dawn, Hundreds of bees in the purple clover, Hundreds of butterflies
on the lawn, But only one mother the wide world over."
George Cooper
"...the Earth, the umbilicus
of our thought interweaving the dream that we are sharing. We
are turning this dream to peace. We are remembering the sacred
medicine and we are keeping the sacred prophecies to clarify and
purify, to see ourselves in harmony. Many roads are open as
one steps upon the way. All roads lead home. Just be careful
when you walk, be aware, when you step onto a certain form in the
road, that it will take you to its conclusion until there is another
opportunity to change direction." Voices of our Ancestors, Ywahoo

The
gentle sounds of her Native Flutes make a perfect backdrop for
sacred ceremony and reception, and Bunny's rendition of "Give
Yourself to Love" and other love songs, always brings a joyful tear
to any special occasion!
My
heart is happy you have found this web site today to discover
the music sent me from the sacred Black Hills where I live. It is my
hope that you, may come to know of life-honoring indigenous ways through sites such as
this, discovering "Native" perspectives, so needed for our
times.
I have read many posts on the web from those wishing to learn of
their ancestry, and I know personally of this yearning. Yet, the
Lakota prayer -
"Mitakuye Oyasin" (in Lakota
meaning all my relations, or "we are all related"- we are all one)
speaks to the knowledge and vision that regardless of the color of
skin or traceable heritage, we ARE all relatives of each other, we
are what is in our hearts, especially so, if we are courageous
enough to honor it in the way we walk in a sacred manner upon our Mother Earth.
This time in human history many are looking for tribe, extended
family, "Tiospaye", roots to cling to - for we can feel this great
dis-harmony in our world now so torn by "left brain" teachings that
have put in our heads, that have told us, we are somehow at "odds"
with the natural, the sublime, the beautiful and harmonious, the
creative, life-nurturing organic world, all living things in
diversity, ourselves, and each other.
This view is quickly becoming old news as more people get back in
touch with their "knowing" that life is a gift (not a punishment)
and with the many "super" storms now manifesting
across our globe - the lightening
speaks - of the need to
get back into harmony with the natural world. Humans need to
know, come to truly understand that what we do within our life-style,
life-ways, and living circle - to the environment and to all living
things - how we each
"touch" the earth
(whether it be house pets, family members, or how we "consume"
and expend our personal "trash") ALL these things effect the world
around us and the larger whole.
Certainly it is time to
learn to live functionally, effectively - IN love.
So, the teachings from the Lakota prophecies and dreams that have
been preserved in ceremony and are now being spoken, sung forth, and
sent for this time, are becoming clearer to those who still
yearn to listen and learn, and LIVE!, those willing and desiring to understand
the messages that renew life, take us out of the shadows of misinformation,
self defeating ways, into the light of practice of love, of truth. May we
all be comforted with the truth, the news that many are now learning to hear
these messages so subtly yet clearly communicated from the natural world.
It is my prayer that this may also be heard clearly in my music
offerings, sent from a prayerful, grateful heart.
NOW It is time to walk
in beauty, dignity, and honor with ourselves, our families, within
our neighborhoods, and again make a commitment to live with respect
and humility and in ways of peace with all our relations. All of the
visions, dreams, prophecies for this time (in principal these agree,
from many different cultures) to show a final good outcome for those
who will take heed and walk in balance upon the good Red Road in
honor of LIFE instead of fear of death.
These messages
have also come to me in many dream-sent songs that I sing at every
opportunity to any who wish to hear them - sent to me from the heart
of the Black Hills - perhaps to reach yet more hearts who still live in
the darkness of fear, to yet find comfort and life honoring perspectives.
These things are
all for healing and balance. All we need do is take heed,
listen, learn, LIVE!
A note about
Native American flutes, music, and story telling:
Just as a "French
horn" is a particular type of musical instrument, "Native American
flute" refers to a particular type of musical instrument and "Native
American Storytelling" does not imply that it was presented by an
enrolled member of a Federally-recognized tribal member. A
reviewer with the Rapid City Journal recently dubbed Bunny's music as
"Lakota-inflective Folk". This aptly describes the type and
subject matter of the original music she shares, with the intent to build bridges
among races of all people, Red, Yellow, White and Black, and educate, show honor and respect for
human BE-ings, Lakota and
ALL other earth-nurturing, Native American and indigenous life-ways, perspectives and cultures.
Although Bunny has a rich mix of first nations ancestry, has learned from,
shared and associated with many well respected
"Federally-recognized" Native American Indian tribes, tribal elders,
chiefs, and medicine people, she has well researched the
stories and teachings she shares with great conviction while she plays Native American flutes in music that is
enjoyed and endorsed by many prominent card carrying Native Americans, Bunny
Sings Wolf's music does NOT claim to be "Native American made" as
is now specified by the U.S. Government. IF it is your
desire to listen only to music made by an enrolled
member of a "federally-recognized" "Native American"
musicians, you may
find them through a web search.

Most asked question:
"How
can I get a copy of Bunny's latest new songs that I heard at her
concerts?"
Most of Bunny's ORIGINAL
SONGS (upward of 320 at last count) have
"arrived" usually at 3:00 a.m., in the form of dreams
since Bunny has been living at home in the Black
Hills. Waking her from deep sleep - playing in her
head - complete with words and music, she records them, to learn and
share later. In honoring this unique music gift, Bunny feels a solemn responsibility to the Creator
to use her voice and carry these songs to as many people as possible.
Lyrics of some of these songs, yet unreleased on CD, may be found on
